Wade Hill, Ph.D., APRN, BC – Research Fellow
Dr. Wade Hill’s main research interests are behavioral aspects of home environmental health management; environmental health tracking; risk communication in environmental health; psychosocial determinants of health. Dr. Hill currently directs the Montana performance site of the Environmental Risk Reduction through Nursing Intervention and Education (ERRNIE) study which is testing a novel approach to reducing childhood environmental exposures. His main instructional areas are principles of public health; epidemiology and population-based nursing practice; program planning and evaluation; health behavior theory.
Dr. Hill received his bachelor’s degree in nursing and his master’s degree in community health nursing from the University of Wyoming. His doctoral degree in public health was completed at Oregon State University and he holds certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Community Health Nursing.
Away from work, Wade enjoys the company of his wife Nikki and son Cade. He moved to Montana in 2003 where he takes pleasure in fly fishing and bird hunting.
