About MOST of Us

MOST of Us is a part of the Center for Health and Safety Culture and is dedicated to applying science to grow solutions to complex social problems. Our Positive Community Norms Model (PCN) provides a process to guide researchers, practitioners, and community leaders to improve health and safety.

We are the first program in the country to have used social norms marketing and Positive Community Norms at a statewide level to address issues such as tobacco use prevention, the misuse of alcohol and seat belt use on a large scale. We are currently involved in applying our Positive Community Norms model to a variety of issues including traffic safety, workplace safety, reducing underage drinking, addressing stigma associated with mental health treatment, and preventing child maltreatment.

MOST of Us was founded in 1998 by Dr. Jeff Linkenbach. Jeff’s passion for making communities safer has attracted a diverse team of professionals. We strive to foster transformation and improve outcome effectiveness in institutions, organizations and communities through our Positive Community Norms model. We work with our clients at growing the positive in their communities through focusing on a unique combination of transformational leadership, communication skills, and integration of multiple strategies.
